Turning Point was founded to ensure that those who want to overcome alcoholism and drug addiction can find effective, compassionate treatment, regardless of their ability to pay. The government funding we receive falls far short of the actual costs of delivering care to our clients. We depend on donations from individuals, foundations and corporations to bridge this gap. Your support is critical in ensuring that Turning Point can continue to offer our clients all the services they need to turn their lives around and stay on the path to recovery.
THE K. J. CARROLL MEMORIAL FUND
Kevin James (K.J.) Carroll’s too-short life was filled with passion: for playing sports and for the professional sports teams he loved, for skydiving, writing poetry and lyrics, enjoying nature’s beauty, and so much more. He reveled in his family and many friends, who cherished his smile, his loyal and compassionate nature. His mantra was “Love is a verb.” K.J. was clear about his future. He planned to become a counselor at Turning Point for young adults struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.
To honor K.J.’s legacy and his dream of working with those seeking recovery from substance abuse, his family has created The K.J. Carroll Memorial Fund at Turning Point. Contributions to this fund will enable Turning Point to dedicate a beautiful outdoor space at its new facility in K.J.’s memory. Your donations to this fund will also support Turning Point’s programs designed to help its clients find and remain on the path to recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction.
