Current Openings Position: Outpatient Counselor Minimum requirements: Master's level clinician with LCADC preferred or in progress is considered. CADC is acceptable. Knowledge of 12-step program required, knowledge of harm reduction, motivational enhancement, stages of change preferred. Minimum one-year counseling experience in an Outpatient setting including individual and group therapy. Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to managing a clinical caseload of outpatient/intensive outpatient clients in individual and group therapies, individual case management and all required documentation for licensure and/or funding requirements. Responsibilities: Responsibilities are but not limited to assisting the medical doctor, blood pressure checks, discharging clients etc. Must be reliable, personable, able to work in a fast pace environment. This position has a BFOQ (bona fide occupation qualification) in that the role requires the individual to meet with predominately male clients to conduct UDS, therefore this role requires a male to be interviewed and fill the position. Responsibilities: Duties include but not limited to UDS of predominant male client population, psycho education classes, basic didactic sessions and other duties as assigned. This is due to the need to maintain databases with client information. He/she should also be proficient in using the internet. An intake worker requires excellent communication skills. An intake worker is expected to have a high level of management skills, should also be able to communicate effectively and articulate ideas verbally and through writing. Since the job is interactive, it is also necessary for the individual to be able to work well with others and interact with ease. He/she should be organized, committed and dependable, demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and conform to organizational policies.
Responsibilities: The intake worker is responsible for facilitating admissions to the facility. He/ she serves as a link between the organization and clients. The intake worker handles any inquiries, complaints and concerns from clients. He/she works with various members of staff with the purpose of ensuring that all requirements are fulfilled before admission takes place, ensures that admission processes are completed within the designated time and all documentation is professionally presented.
