Current Openings Position: Maintenance Helper Responsibilities include but are not limited to building maintenance, housekeeping and floor maintenance, inventory purchasing, receiving and distribution, set-up/clean up for meetings and special events. Location is Paterson however, assignments will include other sites (Secaucus and Verona). Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, Hard working, Able to work independently and very reliable, Must have a valid NJ driver's license and good record, Handy Person is a plus. Position: Mental Health Intake Worker Qualifications: Masters Degree preferred in Social Work or Psychology. LCADC Preferred. Strong clinically/diagnostic skills, knowledge of DSMIV and knowledge of chemical dependence and 12 Step programs. Responsibilities: Position responsibilities are, but not limited to answering telephone inquires about admission to Turning Point, completing Pre- Admission Screening and scheduling admissions as appropriate. Screen clients and determine appropriateness of admission based on DSM, ASAM, and agency criteria. Complete Diagnostic Interview on all clients with a Co-Occurring Disorder. Make referrals as appropriate. Screen clients to determine funding eligibility and insure all funding requirements are met. Verify client insurance benefits and eligibility, Obtain pre-certification as indicated. Good telephone and communication skills. Must have knowledge of NJ employment laws, understanding of and genuine interest in HR. Intermediate computer skills Microsoft office, Outlook, familiar with VISTA operating system. Responsibilities: Position responsibilities are but not limited to supporting the Director of Human Resources and maintaining a confidential environment, processing COBRA, FMLA, VOE requests, auditing personnel files, completing I-9 forms, applicant tracking, preparing for new employees and closing out terminated employees, staying abreast of changing legislature and state law changes.
