Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with current NJ license to work in detox department. Experience with treating substance abuse clients preferred and COD experience a plus. Knowledge of addictions and 12-Step program.

This is due to the need to maintain databases with client information. He/she should also be proficient in using the internet. An intake worker requires excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: The intake worker is responsible for facilitating admissions to the facility. He/ she serves as a link between the organization and clients. The intake worker handles any inquiries, complaints and concerns from clients. He/she works with various members of staff with the purpose of ensuring that all requirements are fulfilled before admission takes place, ensures that admission processes are completed within the designated time and all documentation is professionally presented. An intake worker assists with admission processes and ensures that documentation requirements are fulfilled.
